Psychology Reading Comprehension Worksheets
Psychology is one of the easier sells in a credit recovery classroom, because every kid already has opinions about why people do what they do. This set covers the branches of psychology, sensation and perception, sleep and memory, and the theorists and studies that built the field.
The branches unit alone spans clinical, social, sports, and neuropsychology, among others, so a kid who thinks psychology is just therapy gets a wider picture fast. From there it moves into how the senses actually work and why illusions fool a perfectly healthy brain, then into memory, sleep stages, and the difference between classical and operant conditioning.
The last section is the one students actually quote later: Pavlov's dogs, Milgram's obedience study, Piaget's cognitive stages, and Maslow's theory of motivation, the research that shows up in every intro psych class they'll ever take. Every worksheet is a free, print-and-go reading comprehension worksheet with a full answer key, so a substitute can run the whole thing without you in the room.
