Nobody reads a wall of legal text before downloading a worksheet, so here's the short version of what using this site means.

What this site provides

More Lessons Less Planning is a library of free lesson materials: reading comprehension worksheets, toolkits, and related classroom files. I build and check each one myself before it goes on the shelf. Everything here is offered as a free download; there's no purchase required to use the site.

Classroom use

You can use everything here in your own classroom, edit it, and share it the way described on the how-you-can-use-these page. That page is the real answer to "am I allowed to do X with this file," so check there first if you're not sure.

What's not allowed

Accounts

There's no account system on this site right now. You don't sign up, log in, or create a profile to download anything. If that changes down the road, this page will say so.

Ads, tips, and the supporter tier

Running a free site costs money. I cover that with ads (Google AdSense, not live yet), tips through the tip jar you'll see around the site, and a paid supporter tier that's coming but isn't available yet. The full breakdown is on the transparency page. None of that changes what the free lessons are or how you're allowed to use them.

As-is

Lessons are provided as-is. I care a lot about getting facts and answer keys right, see the verification page for how that works, but the full disclaimer on warranties and liability lives on the liability page. Read that one if you want the details.

Changes to these terms

I'm one teacher running this site, and these terms may change as the site grows (the supporter tier launching, for example). If they do, I'll update this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you're good with the update.
