The Human Body
Kid-friendly body systems and health images for elementary anatomy, wellness, and science units.
This collection gives me a friendly way to introduce anatomy without making the page feel like a medical textbook. It includes diverse children, brain, heart, blood drop, lungs, stomach, bones, muscles, eyes, ears, nose, hand, mouth and tongue, skin, and a simple body outline. The images support grades K to 5 units on body parts, senses, major systems, exercise, nutrition, and staying healthy.
I'd use the color pictures for a team relay in which students match each organ to a job, such as breathing, pumping blood, or sending messages. For younger students, the blackline body outline becomes a place to draw and label what they know. Older elementary students can add arrows showing how the lungs and heart work together or write a short "body system reporter" paragraph. Between the color cards and blackline pages, I can build a calm display or a student-made science booklet from the same artwork.
